Chuck has no ethics. I’ve been boycotting Mac’s since the beginning of March of this year for the way he treats local bands, his incompetence and, most importantly, his inexcusable language on a couple of occasions.

I’m happy to see people are willing to stand up against this.

Creative use of tongue-in-cheek lyrics and hate-mongering are two different things and he either doesn’t understand or care about that distinction. Regardless of the band’s supposed intent, these lyrics would easily fit on a skinhead record.

The only thing that shock me about this is that he even agreed to stop the show in the first place.

I miss the old days when Mac’s was a fun place with a good vibe. I still enjoy a lot of bands who do play there but I refuse to attend shows at that venue. My conscience won’t let me.

Regardless of the outcome, I won’t be returning to Mac’s until and if someone else is in charge.

As for this show, good luck. By the way, his excuse is laughable.

When I first heard that this Stupid KKK rally was going on I was ashamed to be associated with the state of Michigan. KKK is nothing more than a hate crime in motion! Nice to see so many protesting this crap! Hurray.

It is a basic 1st amendment free speech right to ask businesses not to deal with certain customers. Little Harold is also confusing criminal law with civil law.

A few examples…

It is the same when Hal Turner is asking white people not to do business with certain Jewish businesses. Or when Christians picket businesses asking them not to do business with gays.

It’s all legal and there’s nothing Little Harold can do about it.

If Little Harold does get discriminated against, it’s between him and the hotel. And he’ll lose to the high priced lawyers the hotels can afford but Little Harold can’t.

There is much to be said for street theater. In Knoxville the WNs had a complete hissy fit when confonted with clowns instead of the usual angry antifa. Good fun, and an effective way to point out the idiocy of the racist right.

The most effective tactic that I have seen was in Beaumont, TX when a parade of Supremist was greeted by Black cross dressers armed with signs asking “Are you my dad?” and “Please Danny, send child support!”. My favorite was when a not so pretty impersonator armed with a bull horn shouted: “Look how cute my man is in his red sheet and hood!” “You know, we slept on that last night!”.
